TITLES/LICENSES


Jugoshin Ryu Jujutsu has strict standards when it comes to giving titles and licenses to its students. It takes years and years of hard training and dedication to receive such recognition. If your looking for easy titles, licenses and dan ranks, we are not the dojo for you.


​We issue the following titles:
senpai - assistant instructor
Sensei - full instructor
​​Shihan - Master Instructor
​


We use the following menkyo system in the art of Jugoshin Ryu Jujutsu:

​
okuiri: To enter into the secrecy of martial arts

Mokuroku: A registered practioner. The student becomes a black belt and receives their first certificate in Jugoshin Ryu Jujutsu.

Menkyo Kaiden: A license of total transmission
