Amanda Lange Sensei has been training in the martial arts since 2010. She began her training in the traditional art of Okinawan Karate of Uechi Ryu. She trained diligently and attained her Shodan in two years.
After Amanda was exposed to Gracie Jiujitsu and Jugoshin Ryu Jujutsu she was hooked and slowly began to make her transition from Karate to a full time Jujutsuka. After a few months she made the commit to train full time in the art of Jugoshin Ryu Jujutsu under Hetzler Sensei. Eventually she asked if she could join the Uchi deshi program. After careful consideration by Hetzler Sensei, she was accepted in to this elite program. Amanda has excelled in the uchi deshi program and received her purple belt and the title of Senpai in just under three years. This is a huge feat considering the fact that Hetzler Sensei has never given these very important things in such a quick amount of time. This shows Amanda's dedication, commitment and hard work. Amanda has earned the title of Senpai and has picked up on her teaching duties within the dojo.
