Brandon Hetzler has over 40 years in the martial arts and is known for being a great instructor. Mr. Hetzler has traveled around the world to train and has been to Okinawa, Japan, Tokyo, Japan and Rio, Brazil to explore and receive the finer teachings of his respected arts. Hetzler Sensei has studied and earned black belts from some of the greatest martial artists of our time.
Hetzler Sensei's rank is as follows:
7th degree black belt in Jugoshin Ryu Jujutsu under 9th degree Ricky Adams Hanshi.
3rd degree black belt in Goju-Ryu under 10th degree Morio Higaonna Sensei.
3rd degree black belt in Shito-ryu under 9th degree Ricky Adams Hanshi.
Black belt in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu under 8th degree Master Rickson Gracie and Professor Kron Gracie.
Although Hetzler Sensei has been extremely successful in the sport aspect of martial arts, he believes that self defense must come first and that is his main priority.
Kron Gracie stated after a training session with Brandon, "You have the best self-defense I have ever seen."
Hetzler Sensei has won many championships at the World, International, National and State levels in both striking and grappling tournaments.
Brandon is a 4-time Pan Jiu Jitsu medalist, a silver medalist at the Rio International (WORLDS) in Brazil, the 2009 World No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu Champion, the 2010 No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu Silver medalist.
Hetzler Sensei is available to teach seminars in Jugoshin Ryu Jujutsu.
