Jugoshin Ryu Jujutsu Kamon
The Kamon for the Jugoshin Ryu Jujutsu family was thought of very carefully and took several months to design. Hetzler Sensei wanted the kamon to have true meaning and follow the Japanese way!!
The meaning of the kamon is as follows:
Each open space represents the 7 virtues of the Samurai code (Bushido)
The wave like lines remind us to be like water. Water can crash or it can flow.
The circle tells us that our training never ends and to have the mind of a beginner. (Shoshin)
The letter "H" can be seen in the middle representing, "Hetzler".
The three vertical lines and the three wave like lines represent the power of threes in the martial arts and the concept of SHU HA RI.
