Our mission is to perpetuate the warrior art of Jugoshin Ryu Jujutsu, specifically the martial arts passed down from antiquity through the Samurai of Japan. While we embrace the many positive aspects that can be derived through the practice of martial arts, our supreme
endeavor is that of perfect self-defense; invincibility.

Affiliate membership is open to any individual or dojo with a serious interest in Jugoshin Ryu Jujutsu.
Soke Hetzler founded the Jugoshin Ryu Jujutsu Association in 2012 out of necessity. After over 30 years of martial arts training he learned that there are many aspects of fighting. He felt obligated to share with his students all that he has learned. Jugoshin Ryu Jujutsu deals with all areas of combat. Striking, throwing, ground fighting, clinch work etc.. Soke Hetzler has created a complete and easy to follow Jujutsu curriculum from white to black belt.
While most instructors specialize in either striking or grappling, Hetzler Sensei has won both striking and grappling competitions at the World, International and National levels. In addition, Hetzler Sensei holds Black Belts and Instructor Certifications in both striking and grappling martial arts!

Jugoshin Ryu Jujutsu has strict standards when it comes to giving titles and licenses to its students. It takes years and years of hard training and dedication to receive such titles and licenses. If your looking for easy titles, licenses and dan ranks, we are not the dojo for you.
